You see he is not slowing down just because he has a cast on. This was at an Easter egg hunt at Scott's parents. Jack was more interested in playing with the ball and bat than finding eggs. He'll be wearing his cast for a month but it won't be as bad as I thought because this cast can get wet and we were encouraged to bathe and wash it. Just hold it up to let it drain and we're good to go. Nice...

How cute is that?! How many trips with 2 boys have you had to the ER?
Not that many with Cole but I think Jack is going to lead us on an expensive merry adventure. First broken bone before age 3 but a month ago we visited the emergency room because he tried to self medicate. We never did figure out what he started chewing on but he was bouncing up and down in the emergency room but otherwise just fine. We breathed a huge sigh of relief until we got the bill and that sent me into seizures--$450.
We did have some excitement with Cole though---a swallowed needle which we still have the xray to prove it and also an emergency appendectimy (sp??). We still feel bad about that one. We thought he was faking a stomach ache so he didn't have to go to church so we didn't see a doctor til that Monday--of course straight to surgery. And they let us have another another one. Heaven help Jack.
